American college basketball player, Angel Resse was caught with an ankle injury while trying to block the Caitlin Clark shot during the ongoing match between LSU Tigers and IOWA.
With the high jump attempt to block the shot, she landed badly and stumbled toward the camera crews underneath the basket causing the ankle injury. Reese was seen jumping on her one leg towards the bench.

After the incident, Reese checked out of the game temporarily making sure her leg was not badly affected.
However, after a quick medical personnel look at her, Reese then came back to the game a few minutes later.
During the first half of the game, Reese had 13 points and eight rebounds while after the ankle injury and return to game, she had 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Unfortunately, her team lost to Iowa with 94-87 points, and Reese’s championship-winning run at LSU was over.
With the loss, at the postgame press conference, Reese was in tears. She said, “No matter which way it went, I knew this was going to be a night for the ages. Just being able to be a part of history is great.”
