Sunny Hostin parents are Rosa Beza and William Cummings. She is a famous American lawyer, journalist, author, and television host. Currently, Hostin represents as the co-host on ABC’s morning talk show, The Views as Senior Legal Correspondent.
A multi-talented figure, Sunny Hostin who started her career as a law clerk to retired Chief Judge of the Maryland Court of Appeals Robert M.Bell later became a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division.
After an attorney, she became a federal prosecutor with a specialization in child sex crimes. For her work as a prosecutor, she was awarded a Special Achievement Award for the successful prosecution of sex offenders.
Besides, she also became a Managing Director of Business Intelligence and Investigations at Kroll Inc.
After legal services, she also appeared on television screens as a commentator for Court TV using her stage name, “Sunny Hostin”.
In September 2007, Hostin was signed by CNN President Jon Klein to the network as the legal analyst for its morning show, American Morning, and worked till 2011.

Asuncion Cummings aka, Sunny Hostin was born on October 20, 1968, in New York City, United States. As of 2024, Hostin is currently living in her mid 50s i.e., 55 years of age.
Hostin was born to Rosa Beza (mother) and William Cummings (father). Her father was an from African American ethnic group. Likewise, her maternal grandfather was a Sephardic Jew.
Moreover, she also mentioned that she has a large amount of Spanish ancestry and is a descendant of Spanish colonizers, with her fourth great-grandfather being a merchant of slaves.
Well, Sunny grew up in The Bronx, New York City where she attended the all-girls Dominican Academy and learned both English and Spanish.
Similarly, Hostin received a degree in Bachelor of Arts in English and Rhetoric from Binghamton University and a Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School.
As her mother had Puerto Rican heritage, Hostin found out she was only seven percent indigenous Puerto Rican.
Her mother, Rosa Beza was actively involved in the civil rights movement and strongly supports the Black culture.
Furthermore, she shared that her husband and she share similar ancestry with mixed Spanish and Haitian heritage.

One of the successful television show hosts, Sunny Hostin lives a happy married life with her husband, Emmanuel Hostin.
The couple tied the knot in 1998 after dating two years and have been together for over two decades. They met at a church while they were living in Maryland.
However, before becoming parents to two beautiful children, Gabriel and Paloma, Sunny had gone through infertility struggles and multiple miscarriages undergoing IVF treatments.
Well as of now, the couple lives happily along with their two healthy children expressing their love and gratitude in their lives.
