UPSC NDA & NA (II) Exam 2016

The result of NDA and NA examination (II) which was conducted by the UPSC has been declared. The exam was conducted on September 18 for admission into army, navy and air force wings of the NDA and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).

The result of National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examination (II) which was conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has been declared. All those candidates who had appeared for the prestigious exam are required to check the same at the official website www.upsc.gov.in.

Next round

The result contains the roll numbers of all those candidates who have cleared the test and have now qualified for the next round i.e the interview, which will be organised by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence.

The exam was conducted on September 18 for admission into army, navy and air force wings of the National Defence Academy for the 138th course and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from July 2, 2017.

Steps to check the result

Log on to the official website, www.upsc.gov.in
Under 'what's new', click on 'Written result NDA & NA (II) 2016'
A PDF file will open which will contain the roll numbers of the qualified candidates
Check your roll number
Download the document and take a printout for future reference

Instructions for the candidates

The candidates are requested to register themselves online on the Indian army recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks of announcement of written result. The successful candidates would then be allotted selection centres and dates of SSB interview which shall be communicated on the registered e-mail ID.

During the SSB interview, candidates will also be required to submit original certificates of age and educational qualification to respective SSBs during the same. The mark-sheets of the candidates will be put on the commission's website within fifteen days from the date of publication of the final result.
